Meet Dr. Wagner
Dr. Jeffrey Wagner is a graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Medicine. He completed his general surgery residency at the University of Washington and plastic surgery training at the University of Michigan. Dr. Wagner is double-board certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is a member of the Indianapolis Medical Society, Indiana State Medical Association, American Medical Association, American Society of Plastic Surgery, American Association of Plastic Surgeons, Plastic Surgery Research Council, American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Head and Neck Society, and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the Society of Surgical Oncology.
With over 7,000 cosmetic and reconstructive operations performed, Dr. Wagner is regarded as an expert plastic surgeon. A faculty member at the Indiana University School of Medicine for over 10 years, Dr. Wagner has been the recipient of multiple grants and awards, and was a founder of the Indiana University Melanoma Program. He has educated numerous doctors in Indiana and worldwide in the latest plastic surgery techniques and has authored nearly 100 journal articles, book chapters, and abstracts. He is an internationally recognized researcher and authority on melanoma, skin cancer, plastic/reconstructive techniques and outcomes. Dr. Wagner frequently speaks around the United States and abroad on a variety of plastic surgery topics. Dr. Wagner has been chosen as one of America's Best Doctors from 1999-2006 consecutively, America's Top Surgeons 2004-2006, and Top Plastic Surgeons 2007.
