Am I a Good Candidate For Juvéderm® Vollure® XC?

Ideal candidates for Juvéderm® Vollure® XC are adults who have developed nasolabial folds they feel self-conscious about and who desire a fast, non-surgical solution. Patients should have realistic expectations, be in good overall health, and not have any allergies to the formula’s ingredients. 

The Procedure

The first step during a Juvéderm® Vollure® XC session is cleaning the treatment areas and applying a topical numbing solution if desired. The product contains lidocaine, a local anesthetic that helps minimize discomfort during the procedure.

Using a fine needle, one of our highly trained injectors will carefully place the formula just under the skin, beneath the folds. Throughout the procedure, your provider will assess the treatment progress and may gently massage the area to ensure even distribution of the product.

The entire treatment session typically takes about 30 minutes, depending on the extent of correction needed. Most patients find the procedure quite tolerable, describing only mild pressure or pinching sensations during injection. 

After Your Juvéderm® Treatment

You should see some immediate improvements after your appointment, though final results will develop over the following days as any minor swelling subsides. Recovery is usually minimal, allowing most patients to immediately return to their daily activities. To optimize your recovery, avoid touching or massaging the treated areas unless specifically instructed by your provider.
